We made a major update to the TVC website and finally opened the "LOCKED" section in the upper-right. The "SYSTEM" section is filled with videos to detail the VS fighting system in depth and the new gameplay techniques too. Check it out.
TVC is launching tomorrow and if for some strange reason you still are on the fence on this - just read the awesome review scores it has been receiving!
Yes it is a TV spot for Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars! So I posted this a few hours ago asking asking you guys to try and figure out what those blurry pics are of. Well some of you guessed it was a TV spot and it involved action figures, but I'm not sure anyone actually figured out what kind of spot it is. Some of you guys are much smarter than I thought though :) So I'm going to review all the posts and pick a few winners to send games to!.
Well here is the spot and it was a blast to produce (I'll share the crazy process later - it does require 60 mins to deliver 1 second of animation). Our ad agency had the idea to create this stop-motion short (a la Robot Chicken) to celebrate the zanyness of the game. Since it wasn't something that I recall any other video game publisher doing before, we jumped all over the idea. We tried to keep it as true to the heroes' characteristics as possible, so you'll see some signature moves in there. You can see the spot in HD glory on USA, SyFy, Adult Swim and more starting next Monday. Let us know what you think! And show your support of TVC by pre-ordering now at GameStop. You'll get those cool trading cards.
Just tell those slackers at Capcom Japan to give us SFIII Third Strike with Netplay over the PSN(Or XBL)and I'll be happy, because I don't have to buy that mess know as SF4. LOL. I kid. Congrats on getting the job at Capcom, you lucky bastard. Later mate.
Grant, I thank you for taking your time to read my comments that I've posted on your blog. However, speaking of being 'new' to this series/franchise- I am not new to this... I have been a HUGE FAN SINCE original SFII came out in the arcade back in 1992. That era was a friggin awesome era! Believe me on that one.
Although, what I am trying to tell you is... Of course, I can see the side of the business- this very reason why Capcom wanted to earn their profits that they have spent their money on development process(es) on multiplatform. I am aware of the fact that they wanted to widen the horizon by selling multiple copies. Of course, X360 is the more 'ideal' platform to design and to develop before they do PS3 version. It is all due to the 'close' knowledge they have with PC which is similar to X360. That I can see, but what I am truly disappointed is the way they make the 'decision' based on what they favor more (i.e., in this case X360). That is why most PS3 fans felt that Capcom (not only your company, but other 'third parties' companies) are ripping us off. No, I am not here to defend or to complain... I am here simply to point out that I wish Capcom could favor PS3/PSP fans more that would be equal to X360.
So, in this case, I know most of us bought Street Fighter Alpha Anthology and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (for PS2 and PSP respectively), but we wish that you could release more of titles for PS3/PSP on PSN Store, you know?
I hope that my voice of reason is more reasonable and rational... for you to see me making my points across. That's all. Again, I must apologize for the lengthy comment... but whew!- There you go!
Grant, if you are interested in having vary conversations/discussions with me- please feel free to e-mail me or to IM me at:
TruePS360iiFan@aol.com- the same thing goes for my AIM (except without @aol.com at the end, you know?- TruePS360iiFan). I hope to hear from you more on your blog and to see you bring more interesting/vary discussions/conversations! Keep up the good work and stay in touch!
