I’ve been preaching the joys of Off the Record for a long time now. The game is pure, undistilled fun set in a vast playground of gruesome delights. It also marks the Dead Rising series’ return to original protagonist Frank West, albeit an older, fatter, sadder version of him. Still, his photography gameplay was perfect for a game where you’re constantly doing crazy things.

On top of that, you can play through the game online with a friend, who will take control fo Dead Rising 2 protagonist and generally likeable guy Chuck Greene. Double the fun! I highly recommend picking this up and threshing some zombies with a loved one.
