Meet the man behind the Rig

Monday, June 24, 2013, 2:02 PM [General]

A couple weeks ago at E3, we were livestreaming some multiplayer footage from Lost Planet 3 with the game's producer Andrew Szymanski, when who should walk by but Bill Watterson, who provided the voice, motion capture, and facial basis for protagonist Jim Payton.

Bill was nice enough to pop in for a brief Q&A with the producer and me, wherein he divulged all sorts of great insight about LP3's cutting-edge performance capturing process. Those who have been keeping up with the game's asset drops will note an almost eery but very cool resemblance between Bill and Jim. Check him out in the recording after the jump.
