So I got creative the other day and decided to make Akuma's necklace. It was easy! You can make one too!
I went to Michael's Craft store and bought three packs of six 1 1/2" wooden spheres. They were $2.99 per pack. I also bought some leather laces, which were about three dollars, and 8 ounces of dark brown wood stain for $4.99. All in all about $18 (US).
The hardest part was drilling a hole through the center of the balls. I used a drill press for this. You could use a hand drill, but it's way less accurate (and less safe). So use a drill press. Really.
After I did that, I got a couple wire hangers. I snipped them near the hook and then threaded 9 of the beads on one and 9 onto the other. Then I bent them back into a hanger shape. Now you can handle them while staining without touching them! Follow all the directions on the can. When they are all dry string them onto the leather cord and BOOM-BAM baby! You've got an authentic looking Akuma necklace!
I only ended up using 16 of the 18 beads, so I put one on a leather cord for my brother. Gouken has a one-bead necklace in some of the concept art. Be sure to let the stain dry thouroughly before donning the beads. I didn't, and I got a little dizzy from the fumes (lol). Have fun! Post pics if you make one too!

Well, there are good points on either sides of the argument.
EDGAt this point, I just can't take the flaming anymore. It's really putting me down, ya know?

I don't know how the mods will handle this matter. But at this point, I don't really feel like I deserve anything anymore.
