Wow, where to start with this week’s Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite updates? As you can tell by the headline, one of the biggest pieces of news is Thanos joining the heroes in their battle against Ultron Sigma – but can the Mad Titan be trusted in a battle with the Infinity Stones up for grabs?

You’re not seeing things, folks. Our heroes (and villains!) will scour the merged universe in search of the remaining Infinity Stones – that means trips to areas that weave iconic Marvel and Capcom locations together! In this trailer, we see Knowmoon and Valkanda, two areas we’ll discuss more in the coming weeks. As mentioned in our earlier blog, the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - Collector’s Edition includes six Infinity Stone replicas and four lovely statues from TriForce. The above image shows the goods neatly arranged, but there’s so much stuff packed into this thing you can’t fully appreciate how detailed the four statues actually are.

So, here are some striking pics of all four interlinking statues!

North American players also receive the entirety of the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - Deluxe Edition as part of the Collector’s Edition. European shoppers, please check with your local games retailers for full details.

Load up your quivers and hand cannons, as the new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite gameplay trailer is here!  Watch Ultron battle it out with iconic Marvel and Capcom characters, including Chun-Li, Hulk, Strider Hiryu, Thor, Chris Redfield and Hawkeye after the jump.

Ultron makes his first appearance in the Marvel vs. Capcom series and brings with him a sinister set of attacks to dispatch his foes. Most notable, is the ability to summon an endless army of drone reinforcements to aid him in battle. He can summon these both on the ground and in the air. The drones also come in two flavors, one stays back assisting Ultron with a beam to cover him with the second version charging forward and smashing his opponent with a powerful blast of energy.
