Soooo, I've been inspired. I've been a Capcom fan for...well about 20 or so years now. I've decided to go through some of my goodies that I have aquired over the years and share them with you all. First up:
One of my all time favorite things about Capcom games (mostly Rockman) is the MUSIC. It is spectacular. Which is why I own all of the soundtracks. Whenever possible I always keep them sealed for my collection so I always know that from now until the end of time, I've got access to a library of timeless Capcom music.
This is a bonus. Came with the MM9 soundtrack.
This is a copy of the press kit that was handed out at E3 2004. You can't see it, but the other one is a bumper sticker/decal type thingy that seeks to clear out Capcom remaining Mega Man PS1 inventory (X4-X6 and MML2). Looking back I wish I had snagged a few copies of MML2. Anyone see what they are going for on Ebay now?
Here are a few pics of the inside of the press kit:
Wow, MMXCM is really 5 years old? Geez, where have the years gone??!
The Kick ass Mega Man 9 E Can Drink. One of the most awesome ideas to ever come out of the offices of Capcom. It even makes a little 8-Bit sound when you open it (...)
Seriously, how amazing is this? The press kit just screams fan service. I managed to get my hands on one and it is amazing. A real piece for a download game. For a review far better than my own go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkixeNutAtY
Now for my review on the HD Remix Press Kit. I sadly had to buy mine off Ebay since I'm not an Elite SF fan like some of you guys! Anyway, it is extremley kick ass and a testiment to the extreme care and loyalty Capcom puts into the fanbase. Seriously, no other video game company on the planet does half the **** Capcom does. Now Here are some pre-opening pics of the Press Kit:
Opened! Look at the amazing artwork that covers every bit of the box. First up:
An actual disc case so you can put it on your shelf with all your other games. AWESOME. The disc contains some great artwork...WAY more than most Press Kits and even more than the MM9 Press Kit (although they were limited to a mini-cd!)
Next up is the head band! I'm keeping that puppy sealed
Had trouble getting my camera to focus so the angle is strange...ANYWAY the E.Honda background. I'm going to place it on the beer fridge. Another pic:
Next up is the limited edition comic book with numerous samples from UDON's upcoming series. I believe this comic was limited to 1000 copies if I recall correctly.
REALLY amazing artwork with painful attention to detail. It is perfectly executed. I love it!!!
All in all the Press Kit goes above and beyond the point of fan service. No detail was overlooked and I sincerley hope Capcom will continue to go in this direction for all their big name download games. 10/10 for the Press Kit!
Now some other kick ass stuff:
The Original MMX box. A little worn but still kicking. MMX is probably my favorite Mega Man game, so I'm glad I still have this puppy intact!
The original gameboy title with vomit inducing boxart and all. Still a pretty good game for the time despite being even more simplistic than the NES conterpart.
MODEL KITS!!!!!!!!!! YAY. From the left: Golden Armor X which is one of the rarest. Next is the 10th Anniversary Model Rockman that got released with Rockman 8. Next up is Ultimate Armor X, released to coinside with X4. Protoman is just out of reach, but as you can see he looks pretty smooth.
Command Mission gaming guide! Pretty slick stuff...has some nice artwork from the game and breakdown of everything that I'm too lazy to hunt for on my own. Nice.
Inside the guide
ANNNNNND thats all for now! Whew never knew I had so much Capcom stuff...and that just scratches the surface. Wow I never knew I was such a big geek. Anyway, this blog is getting long so I need to chill out for a bit. Hope you all liked this adventure into my Capcom (well mostly Rockman) collection.

That press kit is sweet and so is the E-Can drink!
