Seriously...wth. I don't have a clue in the world. Here is what we know so far:

-Existing Capcom IP, not a new franchise
-Not a remake
LP2 is in the works, SF4 just came out, MvC2 is in the works...at this point I would have guessed another downloadable Mega Man (Like MM10 or MMX9), but Seth claimed we wouldn't see another MM for a while.
So what does that leave us with? Maybe another G&G game? What else is there?
I can gaurantee one of these top selling games will be getting a sequel. Hmmmmm still hasn't been a next gen Onimusha yet has there. The movie just finished filming in March 2009. PERFECT TIMING
