So...we all know the numerous advantages of having digital titles. It rocks. But, there are a few drawbacks. I decided to document a few of them:

    1. You can't "own" the game. If the system goes down, that means your game crashes with it. Nothing to collect, nothing to put on your shelf (but Capcom's press kits fix that problem!).

    2. You can't bring it over to a bud's house. It is locked into that system, with no method of transportation.

And truth be told...thats really all I can think of. You guys know anymore?

PSA: Stop asking for Mega Man!!!!

    Sunday, April 26, 2009, 10:20 AM [General]

Seriously guys, quit pestering Capcom about the next Mega Man title. It won't happen anytime soon (2009). You all keep telling Sven/Seth and crew that the time is perfect for a MM10 and a MMX9. You're all correct, BUT you're forgetting one critial componant: Inafune's schedule.

Seriously, look at what hes got on his plate right now. There is no way in heaven or hell that man is going to be able to cough up time to work on any additional games. Its the same reason why MM9 didn't happen exactly on the 20th Anniversary.

Chill out guys, 2010 will be here soon enough. Be patient.

    Seth is ruining SFIV

    Tuesday, February 24, 2009, 06:18 PM [General]

Seriously, for us rookies who have not played SF since the arcade days in the early 90s, Seth is killing the experience for us. I blaze through everyone on the easiest setting only to go about 6 or 7 rounds with Seth at the end, and its frustrating to us noobs. It is way out of balance. I can understand the cheap plays and hardness at the tougher levels...but on the rookie settings he is still harder than the regular fighters on medium-hard. That just doesn't seem right. Anyone else feeling this?

    Are we greedy fans?

    Monday, February 23, 2009, 06:00 PM [General]

It is safe to say Capcom has come out swinging. If every other video company out there is firing machine guns, I'd say Capcom is launching nuclear warheads. Seriously, MM9, SF4, LP2, DR2? Bold projects (particularly the first two) in an AWFUL economy. Few entities are taking such steps.

Something that I have recently noticed: are we fans getting a bit too greedy? I recall the days MM9 got released...here are some of the questions that were asked on RELEASE DAY:

    "Can we get a PU2?:

    "Can we get a MM10?"

    "When is MM10 happening?"

"Is feature XYZ possible for the game?"

As for SFIV, here are a couple of items I saw:

"Why isn't character XYZ in there?"

    "Where are the extra costumes?"

    "What about SFV?"

Now I scroll through the "ASK CAPCOM" forum and look at all the stuff for LP2.

Seriously...whatever happened to enjoying dinner before you start thinking about breakfast? Love what you have, and enjoy it. Then once we've worn it out, THEN we can start griping about what we want for dessert.

I'm not saying us fans should stop making requests or providing feedback (why do you think Unity was created in the first place?), but I think it would be wise for us to start showing a little restraint every once in a while. Don't be greedy!
