Ok, I admit it, that title is pretty horrible but I just couldn’t help myself =P
I hope you guys are really digging the release of the XBL version of the game (PSN to follow in the next couple of weeks). If you’re just getting out of your cave that doesn’t seem to have any internet, here’s what we got for you:
- Dreamcast version of Marvel VS Capcom 2 ported to XBL and PSN
- Adding online play via the same netcode from HD Remix. This includes ranked matches along with player match featuring the Quarter Match style play which has 2 active players and 4 spectators where the winner stays and the next spectator challenges.
- Optional widescreen mode.
- Optional classic sprites, or 2 filters to smooth out the pixels
Hit the jump for a preview on the stats site:
To augment your egos and (friendly) trash talking, we have a website that’s launching very shortly. By the end of the day today, www.tu4ar.com will become your place to go to see just how awesome (or awful) you are at Marvel VS Capcom 2. Here’s a quick preview.
Upon entering the gamercard section of the site, you’ll see the current overall leaderboard on the right and you’ll be able to look up your gamertag. Upon entering your gamertag, you’ll come to your overall stats. This lists your rating, rank, wins/losses, total snapbacks, total combos, and total one character victories.
We are able to track the stats of the last 20 teams that you’ve played with, so hitting that little button that says “Last 20 teams played” brings up the following screen:
Displayed here are the stats for your individual teams. We have snapbacks, max combo, OCV’s, percentage that team is plays, and the percentage your top 5 characters are played.
If that wasn’t awesome enough, you are also able to look up another gamertag and compare your stats and the stats for the last 20 played teams.
I hope you guys like it the site. It’ll be up and running by the end of the day today (now that the game is released we can hook it up to the actual data coming in) so be sure to drop by www.tu4ar.com.

Wow, love this feature.
