Street Flocker Foe!
Monday, April 6, 2009, 01:28 AM [General]
Just when you thought FLOCK couldn't get awesomer, we go and do this:
Yup, that's right. FLOCK now comes with 100% more Blanka! Sure, he rolls around, squishing livestock in his path, and sometimes, well, he just sits there. Sure, we're riding this Steet Fighter train 'til it stops. But, you gotta admit, it's still flockin' cool. First person to post here and explain how to unlock him gets a free FLOCK code to give to a friend. (Don't complain PSN fans, I'll have another contest on your blog this week) You can finally buy the game on PC tomorrow April 7, on XBLA this Wednesday, April 8, and on PSN this Thursday, April 9. Make sure to go FLOCK yourself......or with a friend in co-op mode. Special shout out to Marcos who created the video. Tags:

Monday, February 23, 2009, 06:45 PM [General]
Now you can own a piece of Street Fighter history! During the launch event in LA, we held an exhibit, the "Art of Street Fighter", to celebrate this important aspect of the Street Fighter culture. Custom arcade cabinets were designed and displayed by various artists, ranging from graffiti artists, to comic book illustrators to clothing designers. The cabinets will be up for auction tomorrow, February 24, 2009 through March 6, 2009. This auction is organized by Music for Relief, a charity founded by members of Linkin Park. 100% of proceeds from this Street Fighter IV auction will benefit Music for Relief's aid to victims of the catastrophic bushfires in Victoria, Australia. For more information regarding the charity and if you'd like to bid on these one-of-a-kind arcade cabinets, please visit www.ebay.com/musicforreli... Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix achieves record breaking sales!
Thursday, December 18, 2008, 09:22 AM [General]
Finally, a smile from Ryu! It is with great pleasure to announce that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix has sold over 250,000 units year to date. HD Remix has shattered both day one and week one sales records and will most likely break 30 day sales records as well. It's on its way to becoming the highest grossing digital title ever. It would be idiotic and quite frankly, irresponsible to attribute the success of this game to just one person. That's like saying Boxer has better kicks than Chun-Li, it just ain't true. We'd like to thank everyone who poured their heart and soul to reviving one of gaming's most beloved franchises. From the producer, Rey Jimenez, to the folks from Backbone and Udon, to the product development, business development and marketing teams at Capcom, HD Remix was a labor of love for everyone involved. Last but not least, I want to give a big shout out to the hard core Street Fighter community (yes you Shoryuken, Unity, and Key Stoners) who kept this game relevant for the past 15 years and spread the word to the entire gaming industry that Street Fighter is still the "best around"!
