I've been itching to do this for a long time now I've done it! The very first FAN girl that immitated her idol. Barbara Gordon AKA Batgirl.

Note also here Iam using the latest Batgirl incarnation from the cartoon series called THE BATMAN.

This is not Casandra Cain, Bette Kane(the original Batgirl, who was supposed to have a crush on Robin) or the other batgirls before and after Barbara Gordon.

Barbara Gordon saw Batman as her inspiration and idol, fashioning herself to his looks mask, cape an cowl. Seeing also the latest comic issue of All Star Batman and Robin the boy wonder, Barbara Gordon there was protryed as a thrill seeker, seeing Batman's way of fighting crime excites her and she dons her batgirl costume. More in deph, Batgirl said she was the "BATWOMAN" at first, but since she's a teenaged kid like Sakura, she was called by the villains that she fought and Batman "Bat girl" she then took that name, also the original Batwoman was once a love interest of Batman. Seeing the new The Batman cartoons Batgirl first calling herself as Batwoman kinda hybirds her with Batwoman.

Comparisons:

I shall be using the manga, SFAlpha2 game scenes and the OVA for Sakura's comparison.

 

This is where Sakura first saw Ryu fight a gun man.

This is where Barbara saw Batman fighting a villain.

Similar.

At that time when Barbara saw Batman she immediately made a costume for herself similar to Batman and want's to aid him in fight against crime as his sidekick.

 

Sakura does also the same right after seeing Ryu, she dons a white headband and red gloves and she wants to meet him and have a fight with him and she want's to be trained by him.

We all know Sakura has a natural talent for fighting and adopts well in mimmicking Ryu's moves and she is good at track and field. Barbara is a the top gymnastics student in her school and she has a natural knack also in fighting.

 

That is not all that is similar. Ryu is influence by the dark hadou and becomes "EVIL" Ryu, he was brainwashed by Bison so the dark hadou within him shall be released.

Did you know something similar happened to Batman. He was in toxicated by Poison Ivy's mind controlling spores and became also evil. LOL! Ironic!

Some more similarities here. Sakura fought Ryu and won, but he let's her win and she ask to be trained by him, but Ryu rejects her since he explained he is also learning himself.

 

Here Batgirl, ironically fights a mind controlled Batman and WINS over him with a lucky kick which lands Batman on water nearby, thus snaping Batman out of the mind control.

Also later on Batman accepts and trusts Batgirl to become his new sidekick. Which in similar to Ryu does accept Sakura to teach her about martial arts. The SF UDON comics does this where in Sakura is accepted by Ryu as a student, which is similar to the Pocket Fighter Ending of Sakura which he has to train with her on the beach during the summer vacation. While Ryu hopes she wants to go home soon, Sakura wishes their training would never stop. lol

 

 

 

Ok then let's go to the future of what has happened to Sakura and Batgirl.

 

Warning Spoilers for those who haven't read the Sakura manga don't read here if you don't wanna get spoiled.

 

Later on Sakura becomes a gym teacher in the Sakura Ganbanru Manga. Which Ryu goes to her and they have another match to test their fighting ability.

 

 

AS for Batgirl...well it's not a pretty good end. She is now crippled and wheelchair bound and maintains the Batcave and helps an aging Batman in his crime fighting there. Think Hunigan from Resident Evil 4 and Leon. She doesn't go by the name Bat girl anymore, but as her new persona "Oracle" where she became Batman’s sole source of information and backup if there's anything Batman needed within the Batcave or others while fighitng crime.
