    Capcom Graffiti spotted!

    Wednesday, August 26, 2009, 11:08 AM [General]

I've got a buddy who's an avid train-chaser, and while up in Bakersfield, CA, he happened to spot this and take a picture for me.

Obviously due to the mobility of freight cars, this could have been done anywhere on the west coast. But who knew that taggers could actually create something sensible?

Or for a better view of the graffiti...

    Love it!

    My first Anime Expo

    Wednesday, July 8, 2009, 12:15 AM [General]

So my anime fan buddy (read: huge nerd) had been egging me to go to this thing for years. Since I finally acquired an SLR camera, I figured this would be a great opportunity to learn about taking portrait and group shots.

We headed up to the LA Convention Center on Friday, July 3rd. I had seen pics of past AXs before, but overall really didn't know what to expect.

I have to say that it was pretty fun. I'd never dress up myself, but the costumes were pretty sweet. I like the accuracy and passion that some of these people put into their cosplays.

I saw the Capcom booth (didn't play the games) but there was a lot of Street Fighter hullabaloo. I also managed to get the Street Fighter gathering that afternoon with everyone there. Great stuff.

Here are a few of my shots. The rest are in my photo gallery under Anime Expo 2009.

Good stuff. I might actually go back next year.

    Hi,

Thanks for the nice comment about my collection! :)

My interest for the Mega Man EXE/Battle Network/Power Battle isnt that big actually, i think i like the Mega Man orignals and Mega Man X better. I have played through Mega Man Battle Network 1, but thats about it.I think i have tested some of the other Battle Network games, but i havnt really played them. I dont know why i havnt really played the other Battle Network games, because i quite enjoyed Battle Network 1.

I still havnt gotten around to get all the Nintendo DS games, but i bought those Man EXE/Power Battle stuff because i liked those bundles (like the Gameboy Advance bundles and the Mega Man 5 EXE bundles that includes a guide or something) :)

The Power Battle games are relatively cool i think, but i havnt really played them that much, atleast not yet :)

I bought the "sealed" Mega Man: The Wily Wars from a guy on Ebay who was located in Italy. It was about 3 years ago (7th of May 2005 to be more precise). He had maybe something like 5 copies for sale. I think all of them were new/sealed, but unfortunately i'm not 100% sure. I dont know how he got so many, but if i should guess, maybe he found some copies from an store that have had some copies in their storage for some time, but i dont know : Hopefully more new/sealed copies of Man: The Wily Wars will surface so you can buy one :)

I live in Europe, so i have interest for the european Mega Man released games as well :)

Thanks! :) I will keep collecting Mega Man stuff for as long as my interest for Mega Man is there :) Keep it up you too! :)

Hehe, no problem with the girlfriend, i am single right now, so its no nagging or anything from a girlfriend :) My Mega Man stuff doesnt take up THAT much space actually, atleast in my opinion. I have maybe 90% of all the stuff inside one closet, so its not in anyones way (or what i shall say) :)

    Regards,

    Ninjaz
