CAPTIVATE09 officially starts this evening in Monte Carlo with our welcome reception and dinner (where we'll be announcing some new titles!), but the various branches of Capcom -- Capcom UK, Capcom Germany, Capcom France, Capcom Japan and Capcom U!S!A! -- are already beavering away at set up, getting everything ready for the arrival of international media and community members.

I'm not going to lie to you: this hotel is quite posh, prolly the poshest place I've ever stayed in my life. It's also murderously expensive here; every drink at the hotel bar runs 18 Euros, which is roughly $30 per beer. Yikes! Although the forecast for weather this week is rain and more rain, the sun is peeking out and lighting up the entire bay and we can now see why this is one of the greatest holiday towns in Europe. Gorgeous doesn't due it justice.

We're currently hiding out in the "hub room" at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, setting up TVs, game consoles and the like, in anticipation of tomorrow's start. Good times! Check out these pics of setup for some teases for our new titles!
