Stephen T from Kotaku met with several Capcom developers last week in Tokyo, and managed to hit almost all of them with his patented outside-the-box questions, which have generated some interesting and entertaining responses. During his meet with Eshiro-san (pictured left with random Comic-con cosplayer) and Yamazaki-san, Stephen asked them to imagine Ace characters in a fighting game. Check out their responses on Kotaku.
Kotaku imagines a "What if... Ace Attorney characters were in a fighting game?"
Mercury News.com talks Ace Attorney Investigations with producer Eshiro-san
Turns out that Contra Costa Times writer Gieson Cacho is a big fan of the Ace Attorney series. Not only did he get a chance to play Ace Attorney Investigations during the show, but he also took advantage of Eshiro-san's appearance at Comic-con to grill him. Check out Gieson's reactions to the new game (which we showed in English for the first time at the Con) here.

Cross-dressing Phoenix Wright makes me feel funny
Kotaku brings us word that a Japanese troupe of all-female actors will be be staging a musical courtroom drama the likes of which the world has never seen. Objection! The Takarazuka Revue features women performing all roles in each production, including the icky Y-chromosome ones. Take a gander at that decidedly femme Phoenix Wright (played by actress Ranju Tomu) and you may suddenly develop a whole new appreciation for the Ace Attorney games. The Ace Attorney musical will trod the boards in Japan come February of 2009.

Love Phoneix Wright, but felt that there wasn't enough reading to do in the games? Does all that interactivity on the DS give your hand cramps and make your brain sweat? like nutty courtroom drama but fear humilation that comes from having your evidence rejcted? Congratulations!
