Something odd is happening here...

Whew! It's a veritable tsunami of Capcom info here on the blog today. Just turned up a Newsarama interview with UDON’s Project Manager Jim Zubkavich about all the killer Capcom-related books they're prepping for the summer and beyond. Jim talks about their work on the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix project, new SF comics and the supercool upcoming Street Fighter Tribute book.

 Sure, she doesn't have hair buns or a blue miniskirt and certainly isn't displaying huge, meaty thighs, but Kristin Kruek is Chun Li assuredly in this sexy photo. Capcom Japan's Investor Relations group has been very busy this week, releasing all sorts of interesting financial data and new business information. Amongst the torrent of data comes word of a new Resident Evil-flavored Pachislot machine, developed by Yamasa. Pachislot is essentially a slot machine, but these usually live in the neon-exploded depths of Japan's approximately two trillion sketchy Pachinko parlors. Capcom has done a few Pachislot machines in the past, including the DMC 3 and Onimusha 3 machines that are on display in the Capcom Tokyo offices.

Variety has a bit more detail on the recently announced partnership between Capcom and Devil's Due Publishing, including a very teeny-tiny image that shows mock-ups of covers for the two books. The article also reveals a surprise Hollywood writer involved in the comics, which is a good thing.
