Surprise! We've been hinting about it and some folks have been testing it, but the new Capcom Unity is finally live. This is the culmanation of nearly a year of work (actually, we're still not 100% done) and we're very happy with all the new features we're throwing your way. We're going to be adding even more features to the site over the next few weeks, as well as continuing to tweak look 'n feel, so get comfy, start your profile and join the community.
The Cool Kids luv Street Fighter
The Cool Kids are to hip-hop what Wilco is to rock: different, better, smarter. They're superindie, having gone from dropping beats on myspace to build their hardcore fanbase to now starting to cross over into sorta mainstream radio and video play (in fact, I just heard this track on kexp.org, right beofre Moby stopped in for a guest DJ set).
The Cool Kids get heads nodding with the backpack crowd with a sound as rooted in old school as modern hippity-hoppity, but some of their subject matter is supernerdy; witness the shoutouts in the above song "A Little Bit Cooler" to Star Wars belts and eating Fruity Pebbles (mmm... purple milk...) . More importantly, there's an awesome homage to Street Fighter at the tail end of the track. Jump 1:32 in to hear the duo rap about playing SF on a Sega Genesis, closing with a sweet beatbox imitation of SF sounds. Street Fighter, Street Fighter!
The Verticality of Combat: Kraig K Drops Science
Dark Void finally emerged from the shadows during CAPTIVATE08, and you guys are undoubtedly seeing tons of cool stuff hitting on the game.
Dark Void was one of the standout titles from the event -- sure, everyone knew they were going to dig RE5, but Dark Void grabbed attention with its great visuals, interesting spin on third-person action and team pedigree.
Here's a great look at the game (at least, as much as we have revealed thus far) with Capcom's own Kraig Kujawa hitting all the pertinent communication points. That's some solid media training!
Updates from the Street Fighter movie in Bangkok

Aaron Horowitz is the man on ground in Bangkok on the Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li movie set. He comes to you via the magic of der intarnetzens to hype rainy-day filming, big explosions and wire-flying karate tomfoolery.
He also answers some of your questions (well, maybe not you specifically, but you generally) about Ryu and Ken's roles in the film, as well as the overall tone. Check it!
