Make a good game, and they will come! This is a truism in the games industry, going all the way back to the days of floppy discs sold in ziplock bags from the back of janky computer stores. The NPD Group tracks and reports on software sales in North America and the results are in for March: it turns out you guys have been digging Resident Evil 5 in big, big numbers. In the month of March alone, 1.5 million of ya jumped into Chris and Sheva's boots and started stomping Majini into the Kijuju dust. And these are just North American numbers; RE5's been crushing in Europe and Japan, as well. Thanks to each and every one of you for supporting Capcom and Resident Evil 5, we couldn't have done it without you!

Over at Gamespot, I noticed today a news piece on further corporate bailout requests coming before the senate. This time, it's "high ranking" members of the Umbrella Corporation, asking for $100 million in government funds in order to avoid "unfortunate accidents." Does kidnapping the President's daughter in Spain count as an unfortunate accident? Check out the full story for more details.

We've brung ya some odd videos here on Unity, but I'm pleased to pop what very well may be our strangest YouTube link since we launched. Community member and hard-core RE fan John not only video-taped his way from the LA subway to the RE5 Blood Drive on Friday, but then video blogged while giving blood. Ick?

Once upon a time, Chris Redfield was composed of perhaps, from the looks of it, twelve whole polygons. And maybe -- maybe, being generous here -- three textures. These days, he's rough and buff and ready to kick ass all up and down. In 1996, he was a bit... scrawnier... Thanks to Game Trailers for picking through 16 years of RE games so that we didn't have to!
