Weird, my blog starts like some kid's essay, but whatever. Out of every dude who used different ways to get to Canal Street, i took the easiest route, i walked there because the Fight Club was located two blocks from my College, AINYC. I stood in line for 3 1/2 hours (i came at around 5:15). I wont bore you with the waiting in line story so i get to the good parts.
When i got there, the room was pretty small, but the excitment was pretty big. Everyone knows this but the games featured at the Fight Club were Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Street Fighter IV, and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. I played Game #3 all night. My brother, whose also a member of Capcom-unity, was there, but he had to wait cause the place was cramed. I forgot to mention that the man himself was there, Mr. Seth Killian! When my brother got in, he shook hands with him! I was so pissed! little did i know that i would get something from him better than a handshake.
I played Tatsunoko vs. Capcom all night as i mentioned. I got a taste of the new characters, and i have to say that i'm only keen to Zero, maybe because they only had the Hori fighting stick and the classic controller there. I used Yatterman-1 and Megaman Volnutt, by the way. Bastion has a picture with those characters' names, the dude there is me! I took a break from playing to eat some pizza, chesse pizza! (wish they had pepperoni) and diet soda! and Me and my brother were doing what we do best in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom...Pwnd!!! the hell out of people! but that doesn't mean we were unbeatable, we lost a couple of times.
Then it happened! I saw Mr. Killian. I talked to him and shook hands with him, he asked me my name, but he's bound to have forgotten my name, if not, don't spill please! He told me about the hell he went through to bringing this game to the US all from saying "he went to so many meetings"! I asked two questions about Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. 1. about the ESRB stating 26 characters being true. even though he didn't exactly tell me about it, i gave him my word that i won't blab so, sorry! Then i did the biggest unmentionable thing of the night. I challenged Seth Killian to a battle of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I picked Yatterman and Megaman and he picked Tekkaman Blade and Zero. It was an epic battle, but Mr. Killian became victorious beating me in a close end.
That's about it i guess. I was an awesome night. So i'm gonna buy Tatsunoko vs Capcom to find out if "You-know-who" is the 26th character and to hopefully battle Mr. Killian again, but online while i'm at home. All i can say is.....If you don't believe me, ask Mr. Killian yourself. Go ahead! I DARE YOU!!!! later.
P.S. For the fun of the game, Mr. Killian, i wish to have a rematch with you someday!
