Kicking off a new week with a feverishly animated Mega Man GIF that celebrates 25 years of the Blue Bomber.

NES aficionado Brother Brain has a site dedicated to short-burst homages like this, so head over there for nods to all kinds of 8-bit awesomeness. And for what it’s worth, this image reminds me of a big montage video I made a while back for the release of Mega Man 10.

Our official MM25 plans are still cooking, but they are indeed coming. Already had a few meetings on the subject and hope to have more to say as we near the official date in December. In the meantime, Street Fighter will celebrate its 25th bday from July through December in a series of tournaments – more info on those here
