If you’ve played Monster Hunter for more than a couple dozen hours, you know how great the soundtrack is. I won’t go as far as saying it’s the best video game music out there, but there’s a certain magic to it. After all, you have to hear the same tune hundreds of times… and I haven’t heard any complaints yet, lol.

Anyways, I found these two great pieces, please enjoy.

This first one is really touching. Not only is it very soothing, it is also the main village theme for Monster Hunter Freedom 2 / Unite, which most of us haven’t played in a loooooooooong time. Such good memories…

Now this one is particularly interesting because it’s not just a straight cover of the main theme – it’s this artist’s interpretation of it, with its own particular touches here and there. Really worth checking out.

Anyways, it’s always good to see (and hear) this sort of passion for the series. I wonder if you Unity folk might have some covers to share as well 😉
