Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Hands-On Coverage Round-Up

Mar 06, 2012 // GregaMan

Last week, a selection of Capcom staff from around the world gathered together in San Francisco to show off  Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor  at Microsoft’s “Spring Showcase” event. Amongst the various titles shown off at the event, SB:HA was the only third party game to be featured as part of the special Presentation Roster.

Well, the latest press coverage is out, and I’m happy to report that praise for the game is in no short supply! Positive remarks abound in the following coverage round-up, with journalists making proclamations like “[Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is] the smartest use of the Kinect I’ve ever seen” and “Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor validates owning a Kinect.” Yay!

SB:HA comes out on June 19th in North America, June 22nd in Europe. Check out some gameplay right here . Coverage links after the jump.

“Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is the smartest use of Kinect I’ve ever seen.”
Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor ‘s Kinect features don’t feel tacked on or convoluted. Everything was a simple, carefully designed movement that felt real — well, as real as piloting a gigantic bi-pedal mech can feel, I guess.”
