Last Friday in LA, we got together with a few thousand of our biggest fans to celebrate the arrival of Super Street Fighter IV. 

The party went down inside of Casitas Studios, which spends most of it’s time as a training room for Hollywood stuntmen, but is also a great warehouse-style space to cram full of Street Fighters. 

The night’s special guests included SSFIV producer Yoshinori Ono, champion players like Justin Wong, Alex Valle, and Daigo Umehara, and a ton of the voice-actors behind the memorable phrases of Super.

What was on tap?  Some pizzas, Monster Energy drinks, and a DJ, sure.  We also had a cool camera setup to get your pic on a lenticular (re: those 3d card things that change perspective when you move em) with Hakan and Juri, a “bruise bar” where you could get made up to look like you just had the snot kicked out of you, a little bit of OIL WRESTLING, as announced by the voice of Hakan, Lance Holt.

Of course plenty of insanely hot Super SFIV exhibition matches, leading up to an ending that many are already calling one of the most epic in Street Fighter history . 

The crew from Level-Up Series put on a great stream despite some dodgy internets.  You can see recordings from the event on their youtube channel , or watch the whole stream over at our uStream page . 

Of course a bunch of Unity posters have nice blogs about the event (including this pic of some Unity all stars), but MPsy takes my personal Unity cake for a flood of great pics and videos .
