I feel that the XP system need some improvement, as sometimes you can put a lot of effort into something and not be rewarded. When you are capturing a post you should be constantly gaining some XP (say 50 T-ENG per second) and then get a larger amount for actualy erecting a data post fully. You should also get assist points for killing someone. A Lot of the time in LP you can empty a full clip into someone and not kill them. Then someone your team puts one shot in them and the die, leaving you with nothing. For that reason the assist points should be 75% of what you would have got if you had killed the guy. |

If it was based on damage then everything would be fair.

I second that. There would be no arguments.

i think this is a fantastic idea, you know i always wished that when you were running up and down all the snow dunes you could push a button to slide down the hills instead of having to run down them. having a type of heatseeking goggles would go a long way to find those pesky snipers that like to hang from there grappling hooks in the shadows to. |

Boot/Ban system Please!
LP in its day was populated by some of the worst trash XBL had to offer. You know, The cheaters/glitchers. The 9 year old rappers....etc..
Anyway, The coming of LP2 is truly great news. Can't come soon enough!! |

its just as easy to mute someone as it is to ban them. only reason i would ever want to kick or ban someone would be if they are cheating(this would happen very very very rarely like a 1/10000 chance) or if they are extremely lagging(yes i might do it although its unfair if they get kicked from every game because they lag, then they can't play at all). but i can gaurantee you people would kick or ban people for many other reasons besides that. its a feature that is nice but easily abused. maybe capcom could make it so hosts can earn the kick or ban ability? like once the player reaches a certain level?

Right now it's really to early to discuss a kick feature. The reason everyone wants it now is because of how prevalent cheating is now in the original Lost Planet. Of course, while making a sequel, you have to take a look at the things that didn't work out so well, and find ways to improve. So instead of doing this half way, and simply include a kick feature, don't you think we'd want to take a look at the main ways a player can cheat and eliminate that? Thus leaving a kick feature unnecessary? Something to think about. This is a lot of fuss over a little feature. I understand that it could make a difference in the Original Lost Planet, but we're talking LP2 here. Which I might add again, is way to early to be discussing such features. In time, we'll reveal more.
