I can only assume you are explicitly talking about playing with "randoms", or players that are not already your friends on XBL. If you aren't, then your friends are jerks and hog all the T-eng juice Seriously though, do you know how incredibly unlikely it is for "team" games to actually play out that way in public matches? You need friends or at the very least teammates who care about the game at hand just as much as you do, otherwise it's difficult if not impossible to work towards performance goals as a team. Look at any random round of Halo 3 CTF, half of the people don't play defense or offense, they just run around like it's slayer. Does that mean they did a crap job implementing a vanilla CTF spec? No Another aspect of the random cooperative barrier is that as far as T-eng support goes, you only see the health of your teammates and their current T-eng supply level briefly when they are damaged, so it's hard to tell when randoms need healing until it is too late. Even then, I've dropped a couple K T-eng on someone who was beat up bad, and he clearly didn't even know how to use his harmonizer so the next time he caught a tail whip to the dome all was for naught. It would be nice to have a report card breakdown detail view at the end of the boss fights, I'll agree with that. I also think the C & D ratings for support players are always going to be that way, and the easy way to get around it is to play the boss every which way from Sunday to get the true experience and all of your S ranks - you'll probably only "need" to get them once, anyways, if achievements are your thing.

I never had to use it, T-eng is easier to get and harder to loose. Sometimes I would end the game with almost max thermal energy and so would my team mates. |

Lol, perhaps I should just shut up then. I'm just used to other Co-op games where the co-operative functions are basically right in front of you. But it does get annoying using the support weapon on your buddies, and they think you're trying to kill them and shoot back at you. |
