Match Recording

It would be awesome if LP2 hard this. Specifically like Naughty Dog did with Uncharted 2. Every online match you compete it is automatically recorded and saved into a file. Then you can go back through your matches and choose to watch one again with a variety of different camera angles and a screen-capture option. And not just with online matches, but with individual stages in the campaign too.

Honestly, I think this is a very demanding request. Especially with a game as visually/information demanding as Lost Planet 2. But Naughty Dog pulled it off, and you can't say Uncharted 2 wasn't just as if not more visually/information demanding.

Just a suggestion to make an amazing game beyond amazing. There's been so many things I've done in the demo that were unexpected and I wish I could share them, but I can't go back in time and set my video recorder up. Plus it would encourage alot more experience sharing (uploading media to the internet) which would only serve as more advertising for LP2.

It would be awesome but if they haven't started working on it by now I think it is too late.

Games often improve by taking good ideas from other games.  You can't tell me theater wasn't a good idea.

So does having guns make all games the same? No, it's just a good idea that other games stole.

I agree that 99.999% says this will never happen, but maybe Capcom really loves us and decides to start working on this crazy cool patch! I can hope Tongue out

So i know this great hiding spot but i dont want every one to know about it.... owe now everyone knows about it.  Remember that halo had this in their game to compensate for the "suck your thumb behind a rock to regain health system"

So i guess i would hate it if it was in it. on the other hand if there was a option for the host to turn it on or off i would be "fine" with it. or at least have less of a problem with it.

Very good point, I didn't think about that. Well maybe just for the campaign missions? But yeah, probably could do without.

I always liked these kind of features, but yeah...It may be a little too late at this point. Unless there is a LOAD of people wanting it and the producers can just put the release date back a little further. Still in all honesty, I really don't mind them taking longer to release a game, if it will greatly benefit it's experience. I also hope that they are doing okay with fixing the lag, I played the old demo a little bit ago( surprisingly still a lot of players) It was very laggy, as I run behind a bunker and I was still being shot through it for 5 full seconds, Including the fly-by missle lag thing where a rocket will just shoot over your shoulder and you'll just randomly go ragdoll off a cliff.

I agree that I rather have the game pushed back if it means a better product. When a game launches "broken" it gets bad reviews, which means bad sales. And some people only buy a game based on its review scores. After that it doesn't matter how well Capcom patches it: the game only gets its scores once.

However, something like a match recording system wouldn't force a delay, it could always be patched in. But if you read my comments above, kinda leaning on "no" for this now.
