That's right, we have a Lost Planet Wiki right here on Unity. But there's a little problem... We need YOUR help building it. That's right, YOU. I know what you're thinking, "But Snow, it's hard to make Wikis *frown*." And to answer that, no, it is not hard to make Wikis. In fact, we actually have a nice guide that one of our mods put together (go thank FH, he spent a long time on this). So here's the links: How to help with the Wiki - aka The Guide The Official Lost Planet Wiki - aka the pool for the collective knowledge of all the LP Community To make this even easier, if you need art, screens, info, specs, etc. I'll be more than happy to try and get them to you to use in the Wiki. Just let me know what you need in a reply to this thread, and I'll see what I can get. And trust me, I have a lot of stuff on Lost Planet. Thanks everyone. Now, get to it!

Awesome! I am so glad there is finally a good place to put all the info and pictures I have accumulated to use. At the moment I have pictures of every Akrid type from LP1 and the 3 Bosses from LP2 in a standard format in my gallery. If someone wants to go ahead and use them right away please feel free to, but if not I will try and start adding pictures tonight or tomorrow at some time (though they may need to be resized ) In addition to those I have good pictures in the same format of all but 3 of the VS from LP1 (missing pictures of GAB-25DM D-Cakti, PTX-40A-2 Heavy Ivan, DBS-000XM) so I'll get on those as soon as I can as well. I just finished ordering the official Art Book which I found on ebay so I should be able to get pics of them all, but if Snow feels very generous it'd be awesome to get the pictures of the missing VS (or pictures of the Green Eye, Saizarod, and Tencale as they were ripped from lower quality Youtube videos) since I'm not sure how long it will take to come in. Can't wait to start helping with this! EDIT: I went ahead and added thumbnail versions of the images to the Akrid from LP1 page and the 3 bosses from LP2, I kept the original page formats by BTHR Zero X but if anyone has a better idea to organize the pages feel free.

Can't wait to see what you guys add! I'm too scared that I may screw up the Wiki, so I won't touch it.

The Lost Planet franchise is so massive, and that little akrid page isn't doing it any justice. I suggest each akrid get's it's own page and with a larger picture to show the detail. Maybe the describitions can be eleborated on where these guys are found, their attacks, weak spots, possible strategies, etc. Same thing goes with the Cat G's. I'll try and help out as well. EDIT: I finished redesigning the LP1 Enemies section. Each akrid now has it's own page. I didn't mess with the actual content of the pages though, that still needs to be revised as I mentioned above IMO. Also, each akrid page reduntantly relists the akrid's name at the top. That's my fault, I'd fix it now but that's alot of pages.

Great job, I was going to do that myself, but glad you got to it before me. I'm working on the VS section of LP1 right now. I'm missing a few pictures but for the ones I have it contains a thumbnail image above the text (like the Akrid pages) then that thumbnail links to the larger picture. I would suggest that we come up with some specific format or style for those tyes of pages like most wikis do, with an infobox off to the side that contains the minor details of the subject with a picture at the top. Then we could follow all that with any text or sections we may want to add.

The info box could contain the name of the akrid/vs/etc, nickname, which games it's included in, category (for the akrid, though I only know of Category G. Snow would have to help us on that), type of VS (maybe list whether or not the VS can transform like the Crab VS), etc.

I want to contribute as well and it would work best for those new to the franchise. Moreover, I believe a glossary can help most people.
