If/When you go back school defiantly go for something that interests you, be that cooking or making/designing video games. A few of the students in my classes where only taking the Computer Science course cause they thought it would be a quick job once they got their degree, but they struggled and hated it because they were not really interested.
I usually have left over money too! I bought my laptop with it! I saved the rest because I knew I would be moving and figured I would need it, plus I knew I was getting laid off and I needed back up money...blah.
I am moving to Virgina. It's funny I always thought I would move back West (I am from Las Vegas and currently live in Iowa) and somehow I am moving just about as far east as I can without leaving the US!
Yeah from 60-80 hour weeks to NOTHING! Thank god I am moving in 6 days and I can keep myself busy packing up my apartment or I would go insane! Though I will admit it is nice having some gaming time again!
I highly suggest going back to school! Even if you have no idea what you want to do, go to a college and see what they are offer. There is bound to be something that interests you. Do not be intimidated because you are 25, I will be 25 in July. I am getting my Computer Science and Networking Technology Degree, then I am going to narrow it down to Programming of Interactive Media, aka making games!
I managed to get a few grants, but after my first year of school I have $6000 in school loans, sounds like a lot but I have been paying the interest (around $50) every month so it is doable. When I am done with school the $50 payments are going to increase to about $68, not to bad, and I can pay the loan off early with no penalties, so do not let money stand in your way either. The government has also passed a few things recently that you could benefit from, there is a chance you could possibly go to college for free or collect unemployment while going to college! It is really worth looking into if you feel like you are currently in a "rut."
Sorry you have hit bad times. :(
...and sorry for the motivational speech, LOL!
When life gives you lemons....well, I like to cut them into little circle slices and put some salt on them, omg so freaking good...but I guess you're supposed to make lemonade or something.
Well I am sorry to hear that. :( I was looking forward to hunting with you on Tri!
Thanks for the comment about the tattoos, got the Los Felyne yesterday and right now it is oozing something fierce. I know, that's super hot, LOL! I should take a picture of it but I think I may just go to sleep...zzzz...
Hi, I just recieved delivery of the so called "un-facked" couch, and to my disbelief this couch has obvious signs of having been facked. there are size 13 foot prints of a what seems to be a timberland boot on the other side of the cushons, and I also found a dirty sock.. A SOCK!?!. This is unacceptable. I would like my Nintendo virtualboy back as this clearly not the deal we have made.
Heh, cool! Wow, Snow needs to be kicked...in the face...but still, being able to listen to Tri, that is just awesome!
My regular hunting buddies are on vacation for the next week so if you're online I'll probably stop in your room and bug ya. If you want to kick me out, just do it, lol. Even though you say you like doing lower rank stuff, I still don't want to be the reason you HAVE to. I know, I worry about that crap too much. :D
G Rank is amazing! I am so hooked, every item I get is new and unlocks some weapon or armor I've never seen before!
LOL! Yeah I guess I could see why you thought it was a pumpkin. No eyes...you can have your 5 points back, but only because when I first read the comment I laughed out loud, which is pretty rare before my morning coffee!
I am not that great, I was just trying to play really well cause I was with big bad HR9s!
Hope to hunt with you again too! At least once I can pull my own weight. I saw you guys playing yesterday and today and ALMOST joined...almost. Don't want you getting stuck doing crappy quests just cause I joined the room.
