It was the only demo they had or I would have downloaded the single player demo. I guess I just don't have the time to sit around and get better at the multiplayer mode without enjoyment(As I keep getting killed) to figure everything out.

A demo should teach me how to play the game and offer some things people would like about the game. I personally believe it is and especially now (a year after its release) a terrible marketing strategy) Prehaps when it first came out and no one knew what to do the demo would suffice, although I personally still wouldn't be interested in that.

Apparently, you only read part of the post or only choose to respond to part of it. Why would I sit and take time to get good at a demo before I decide on whether I want to purchase it or not?

It makes no sense to me why anyone would play a demo over and over again getting killed and say "wow let me get real good at this game so that maybe I can buy it."

I understand its been out a long time. I also understand that if it was a demo of the single player campaign then there would be more reason to play it then spawn and die.
