The proof is in the pudding...

...or in this case, the personalized message/autograph.

The UPS guy came by today to drop off a package.  It's nothing out of the oridinary.  He delivers a lot to my work, and he's a really cool guy.  He also drops off packages to the GameStop around the corner from my work.  He'll tell me when he's going there so that I'm sure to pick up the latest copy of CAPCOM games available (and in some very rare cases, non-CAPCOM games).  He even lives in my apartment complex.  Weird, huh?  Well, that's not really the point of this blog.  I'll have another one about the man in really short brown shorts later, if you really want (yeah, didn't think so).

The fantastic package I received contained swag more awesome than you can possibly imagine.  Okay, now try to imagine something really, really awesome.

    ...

    ...

...still imagining?  Oh, you're done?  Well, yeah...  It was even more awesome than that!  Don't just take my word for it.  Take the word of these pictures for it(?).

Addition to my Lost Planet collection.  That reminds me, I need to call Guinness.

Fantastic Dark Void booklet (emphasis on fantastic)

Monster Hunter is good for you.  It's full of Vitamin C. *

While it's not a CAPCOM game, I cannot deny the amazingness of Castle Crashers.

Now, imagine for a moment (obviously, I like people to use their imagination) that the creators of one of your favorite games draws their creations and personalizes it for you (Rob Man knows what I'm talking about).  Not only that, but they also add to the long list of things that make me better than Snow.  For more pictures of great swag, check out this gallery.

    * : While Monster Hunter is proven to be good for you**, it does not contain Vitamin C.

** : I'm not sure if Monster Hunter has been proven to be good for you, but I'm pretty sure it is.

    The Future of Heaven

I'm excited about Lost Planet 2.  Duh, you all knew that.  It's pretty obvious.  The only way you couldn't know that is if you didn't know me or have never seen anything I posted or been in my presence.  Okay, okay...  So, that may add up to a few people.  But, there is still no denying that I am excited about Lost Planet 2.  But, did you do know this?

I AM EXCITED ABOUT DEAD RISING 2!

My friend William Adams and I have been talking non-stop about TGS 2009 and the potential Dead Rising 2 news.  I have seen some screenshots, and I have read some blogs.  Whether or not any of it is true, I cannot stop being excited about this.  The next few days are going to be awesome!

CAPCOM has their Tokyo Game Show 2009 website up and running.  It has seven "theatres" to watch short clips about the games, as well as talks with the producers/directors/etc.  It appears they are in order of awesomeness.  Why else would Lost Planet 2 be first?

Watch the cool clip showing a map and your objectives with peeks at the first three chapters.  Then, sit down for a quick word (the second link on the left, under "FLASH") with my best friend Jun Takeuchi.  We go way back!  Like that one time I read a different interview with him.  Or, when I saw a picture of him on the internet.  I think we're going fishing next week.  We have a bet going on what the best kind of bait is.  I'll use my bright orange salamander lure.  But, I'm really betting on the fact that this probably isn't going to happen.  Notice how I put "probably" in there.  I can dream, right?

It's not in English, but it's always nice to hear him talk (and to hear the new "Battle Ready" theme).  It also looks like there will be a third link later on.  I wonder what that will be?

My blog is like a news broadcast...  I preview something only to make you wait for the end of the broadcast before I give it to you.  That way you have to sit through all the other stuff you don't care about (in this instance, my blog... hahahaha)  See, here's the link:

    Tokyo Game Show 2009

    Monday, September 14, 2009, 11:15 PM [General]

With less than two weeks left to go until the Tokyo Game Show and almost 500 games to be there, what games are you most excited about?  I am unbelievably excited about this year's convention, and it's all because of just two games...

"Two?  Just two?!?  That's ridiculous.  This guy is absolutely crazy.  Almost 500 games, and he's just excited about TWO?  That's like .004%," is what you're probably thinking.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm sure there are several other games that will be there that I'm interested in, but not as much as these.  These two are special.  Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2!  Two sequels to two of the greatest games of all time!  I understand you may still think that only two out of five hundr...

Oh, man...  I can't believe I forgot about Okamiden!

So basically, I'm looking forward to news about three games that continue the universes of three of my favorite games ever!  And, they are all CAPCOM games, too!  Wow, now I remember why I love CAPCOM so much...  Haha, just kidding.  I never forgot!  And three is more than two, so you still don't think I'm absolutely crazy, do you?

What are you looking forward to?
