A lot of people like to collect stuff and never open the packages. I've done that before with some stuff, but this time around, I just had to open my PTX-40A Vital Suit figure from Lost Planet. I bought a second one just for that purpose.
I made a video for everyone who doesn't want to open their's, but they want to see what the back looks like, how it moves, etc. I tried to make the opening like when Wayne finds his... Who would have known that no one sells fake snow in July?
I was lucky enough for Dethklok to be in town on the 4th of July. It was amazing. Besides having the coolest tour bus ever, they also put on one of the funniest/entertaining/most awesome shows ever.
Here, watch this crappy video someone took of the show:
The TV was on in the living room as I walked through. "WipeOut" was on. I had seen a commercial for it a few days ago and thought, "Wow, that is really lame. More stupid American producers trying to make money on someone else's idea. This is going to be really bad."
I was wrong. It's not really bad.
It's absolutely TERRIBLE.
I was going to make a long blog explaining everything from the 30-something year old rich white guys in suit announcers to comparisons of fantastic shows they are copying. BUT, I just can't bring myself to think about it anymore. May no one ever mention this show to me again. Please.
Let's face it, guys. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (and obviously Colonies Edition) has some pretty awesome music. I have the soundtrack disc that came with the Collector's Edition, and of course I put it on my iPod I received as a gift recently.
Well, now you can be Battle Ready like the rest of us Lost Planet fans whenever you visit my profile. How awesome is that?
