I like shirts, especially when they have something I really like on them.  So, it comes as no surprise that I have a lot of video game shirts, and most of them happen to be CAPCOM related.

I worked at a FuncoLand (which later became GameStop) for a few years.  Since I was the "assistant manager," I took the liberty of keeping all the cool stuff we had extras of.  Plus, no one else seemed interested in having it all.  Wierdos, right?  Anyway, this included shirts, figurines, soundtracks, stickers, etc...  Here are some of my CAPCOM shirts that I have collected over the years (from GameStop, buying ones I came across on eBay or where ever, gifts, and so on and so on).  I have more somewhere, but I couldn't find them right now.  I'm sure I'll find them when I'm trying to find something else though...

I watched "Premonition" last night with my wife.  I couldn't really get into the movie too much because it was really predictable and obvious with everything.  Plus, everytime I see Julian McMahon, all I can think of is Frank West.  He looks exactly like him.  Even more so in the game.  The first time I saw him was in "Nip/Tuck."  Even if he wasn't in that show, I couldn't get into it.  That show is absolutely terrible, but my wife likes it... although she admitted the last few seasons were crap.

Moral of the story: Julian McMahon is Frank West...  Or is Frank West, Julian McMahon?

 Stan Winston was a genius.  Many people may not have known him by name, but I have no doubt they knew his work.  Think of your favorite characters/creatures that required special effects, and he will have done 99% of them. 

I didn't know him by name until after Jurassic Park.  That was my favorite movie when it came out (with Terminator 2: Judgement Day in a very close second.).  Ever since I was a young child, I had loved dinosaurs.  I think we all did.  We all saw animated shows and such, but no one ever really brought them to life.  Stan Winston changed it all.  His Tyrannosaurus Rex is now what everyone bases their's on.  I researched his name, only to find out he created the Terminator as well.  AND the Predator.  Come on, now.  That is incredible.

Everything he ever did was perfect and incredibly detailed.  There isn't anyone else like him.   He passed away in his home on Sunday after a long battle with cancer.  He was 62 years old.  Enjoy his work.  Go see Ironman again, and Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins when it releases.  He will be missed.

Every few weekends, we all like to get together have a party.  And, by party, I mean drink and play Rock Band.  It's fun knows no bounds!
