So, I'm watching the latest episode of LOST. A commercial comes on for the new STAR TREK movie. In that commercial, Captain Kirk is on an ice planet, and a giant bug like creature shows up...

Now, maybe I like LOST PLANET too much. Maybe I'm watching LOST, and that's what makes me think of it... Or, maybe J.J. Abrams knows LOST PLANET is where it's at!
I tried to find a link to the commercial I saw, but I couldn't find one... So, I have no proof. That is, until the movie comes out! Remember you heard it here. From a LOST PLANET superfan. And, that's why I seem crazy and LOST.
I beat Resident Evil 5 a couple weeks ago, and I recently started playing through it again as Sheva. During my first play through, I spent most of my gold upgrading my MP5. Since I completely upgraded it, I was able to purchase "infinite ammo" for it. I'm using the infinite ammo MP5 with Sheva, while Chris still has a handgun. Obivously, Chris is going to need ammo...
Well, he gets it. All of it. So much so, that my wife kept hearing "You grab it!" over and over again from her art studio area. She asked me, "Does she ever pick up anything? What's her problem? And why is she wearing that?"
I tried to explain the "Clubbin'" outfit and why she kept saying that. I don't think she cared too much. She just wanted her to shut up. :D
It's almost three in the morning here. I can't sleep. I don't know why. But I do know that whenever I can't sleep, I like to watch awesome movies. And by awesome movies, I mean Arnold Schwarzenegger movies.
I'm on my third one of the evening so far. The first one I watched was Running Man, then Red Heat, and now Eraser.
Upon watching Running Man, I noticed something. This is where the title of my blog comes into play. Running Man is a fantastic movie that takes place in 2017. The economy has collapsed. Food, natural resources, and oil are in short supply. A police state, divided into paramilitary zones, rules with an iron hand. Televison is controlled by the state and a sadistic game show called "The Running Man" has become the most popular program in history. All art, music, and communications are censored. No dissent is tolerated and yet a small resistance movement has managed to survive underground. When high-tech gladiators are not enough to suppress the people's yearning for freedom... more direct methods become necessary.
At this point, I'm sure everyone is thinking, "What does this have to do with Capcom?" Well, as it turns out Seth Killian's father, Damon Killian, is the host of "The Running Man." And, Christian Svensson is Killian's bodyguard. Don't believe me? Just watch the movie. You will simultaneously be watching an awesome movie and realizing that I am full of crap... but noticing a hysterical coincidence, nonetheless.

There is certainly no shortage of Capcom games to be excited about! One that I am extremely looking forward to is Dead Rising 2. Ever since I saw the screenshot of the new main character riding a dirtbike through a casino, I had wanted to make a desktop background. Well, I finally did it... I also added a slogan that I thought was pretty clever. I have a version without the slogan, too if you prefer (or you can just delete it). Click on the picture to view my gallery.
