i've got the steam version to working, with no errors.



I had to uninstall capcom version then remove all hidden files, remove every entry of age of booty within the registry. To be sure i got everything, I also got rid of SecuROM as well, and removed it from the registry.



I then did a fresh install through steam and it worked perfectly. Game asked for CD on load, entered steam key and it now the game works fine multiplayer.



I run, 64 bit vista, i7, 6gig ram with asus 4870 card, ie. specs well above required.



We now get the occasional game using the steam group to organise events.



I have been given new temp multiplayer key from capcom, but to be honest since it isnt an new key and i have to enter it when I want to play multiplayer, I cant be bothered wasting the time trying to install that version, as I had nothing but hours of problems last time.



However please feel free to PM me should you have any problems and I will see if i can assist as I have spent hours trying to get the multiplayer working with my mates.
