Capcom said there will be no Ghost Rider because animating his flaming skull would take up too much memory. Okay I totally made that up but i'd expect some BS excuse like that..

Something has been bugging the hell out of me about this picture. i35.tinypic.com/o58092.png Now, if the identities of all these sillhouetes are true, then the number of MARVEL characters on the screen is 7. And if we are going to conclude that C. Viper really is there, then the number of CAPCOM characters on the screen is 9. Now so far, I would expect that the characters on these pictures would be evened out between Capcom and Marvel, so what if there really are 8 characters from each side on there? It might just be this mysterious silhouete is actually a Marvel character.

Dormamamu (I can never spell his name right) would like a word with you. They said Ghost Rider was in all the way almost to the end but they took him out at the last minute. it probably had something to do with that lawsuit that was going on at the time with the creator of ghost rider and Marvel for using his character that's now over but being appealed I think. I still wanna know why Emma Frost Doctor Strange or Brother Voodoo couldn't be in.

I am satisfied with C. Viper's inclusion although I would want Juri to be the SFIV represent.
Hoping for DLC Characters for the Capcom side:
Phoenix Wright (if he doesn't make it in the final roster)
Chuck Greene
Date Masamune
Kaijin no Soki
Batsu Ichimonji
I don't think we'll see Chuck in a versus game for a while. Dead Rising 2 hasn't even come out yet and we don't really know his fighting style yet. (yes the random items are a given but I talking about his physical actions). But judging from how much Capcom loves the Dead Rising series I wouldn't be surprised if Frank and Chuck were both in the next major Versus game.
Yeah only difference is that while Frank has a Megabuster, Chuck will probably hit you with a pink dildo. Maybe he'll use his motorcycle but i'm waiting to see how Ghost Rider plays like if he gets in as DLC.
I'll be fine with either one really, but I would prefer for Ghost Rider to be in this game though.
 Capcom, bring Investigations 2 to the states and resume production of Legends 3! It's the "wright" thing to do! ;D

Cant be that reason, look at dormammu. Maybe they got Dormammu forced on them by Marvel (not unlikely) so they didnt want two flamey headed guys.

Well there are more semi confirmed capcom characters then marvel because well capcoms making the game i would not be suprised if there is more shillouts put for capcom then marvel.

Anyways I've given it some thought but I'm happy C. Viper is in, It makes sense to replace Captain Commando with her because she uses one character model while CC would have needed like 4 or something, while still retaining some of his moves...just like they used Super Skrull so they wouldnt waste 4 character slots on the F4. Then look at the SF reps...maybe we will se Bison which means 4 reps, and I doubt there being 5 reps so no Zangeif, Abel, or Alex...which means Haggars chances rise...but I would have liked seeing Zangeif again but not if that means a **** load of SF characters...

Marvel themselves did say spidey storm and Magneto were in the game when it was officially announced, but at the same time they may not have actually meant taht they were in the game, they may have just been using them as an example and phrased the press release poorly.
