Not adding 2xP and 2xK makes this game unplayable for me, and other pad users, I'm sure.

Quite frankly, if this is not added, no sale.

You could Learn to use a stick :)

Jimmey: I see nothing on custom colors. You guys could go the alpha anthology (color edit code) route.

This is supposed to be at bit more casual of a fighter. The original Marvel vs. Capcom is for you if that's a problem.

you know that 2p is dash right? and 2k is super jump. Theres a lot people who play mvc2 on pad im one of them. Its very easy compared to street fighter 4.

Wow you can't throw in tekken games with out shortcuts maybe you should not get it.

Sorry this ruins the game for you, dude.  I'll buy it twice (on Live & PSN) to make up for the loss of his sale.

This is kinda sad news but thanks for clearing everything up. Atleast now we know Capcom's intentions for MvC2.

Here! Here!

I don't have freakishly huge thumbs so it's hard to mash two buttons at the same time. 2p and 2k NEED to be added for us pad users. The PS2 had them, so should the PS3 one. I know this game is based on the Dreamcast game which only had 6 buttons but you guys at capcom are genuises and I'm pretty sure you can tweek it so we can get this ability. I've been looking forward to this game (or any versus game to be honest) for a while now but if something as simple (but ultimately extremely important) as mapping for 2p and 2k isn't available I may have to consider whether I want to buy this or not.

People can play this on any kind of controller they want regardless of whether you deem them worthy to.   People have been plaing this game for years using pads on the PS2 and Xbox with that option.  Just because they want to have the same level of playabilty on a pad now doesn't make them less worthy to enjoy it.  Pads and sticks are completely different in terms of accesibilty of muliple button presses.   I would say pressing two buttons on a stick reuqires about the same level of dexterity as one button on a pad.

Obviously Capcom thinks it perfectly reasonable, as about 99% of their other fighters, including SFIV and the PS2 & Xbox versions on MvC2 have that option.

You can try playing "claw style" using your index and middle fingers to hit the buttons (that's how we've been playing games like Tekken and MvC in my house for more than a decade now). Best part about playing that way is that it helps you transition to a stick sicne you end up using those same fingers.

@JimmyRey

The game is fine enough as it is save for a few graphics issues in 16:9 and the fact that it wont display correctly on my SDTV.

That and the attract mode, the game seriously needs the original intro.

I support a new (or remixed) Darkstalkers game!
