You can try playing "claw style" using your index and middle fingers to hit the buttons (that's how we've been playing games like Tekken and MvC in my house for more than a decade now). Best part about playing that way is that it helps you transition to a stick sicne you end up using those same fingers.

@JimmyRey

The game is fine enough as it is save for a few graphics issues in 16:9 and the fact that it wont display correctly on my SDTV.

That and the attract mode, the game seriously needs the original intro.

Ugh, claw style with a pad is so annoying. lol

I hear were they're coming from, and considering this game is supposed to attract casuals I was shocked to see it didn't have that option for the 2p and 2k. Seemed like a logical thing to do in order to make it easy for the casual players who just want to have fun with a pad.

I was disapointed in the demo not having the intro.

I know!

Seriously, with the older games, I'd just leave the game on in attract ode simply to bask in the nostalgia.

I support a new (or remixed) Darkstalkers game!

Maybe it'll be in the final version? Sort of doubt it though.

Damn I signed up too late, I wanted to make a suggestion for online play.  Maybe an all random mode, where players who log into this mode don't choose their heroes but are assigned random characters by a completely random algorithm.  This way there is some fun in playing any random character team, and your opponent has the same chances of random characters.

Not adding 2xP and 2xK makes this game unplayable for me, and other pad users, I'm sure.

Quite frankly, if this is not added, no sale.

This is supposed to be at bit more casual of a fighter. The original Marvel vs. Capcom is for you if that's a problem.

you know that 2p is dash right? and 2k is super jump. Theres a lot people who play mvc2 on pad im one of them. Its very easy compared to street fighter 4.

Wow you can't throw in tekken games with out shortcuts maybe you should not get it.

3P = Dash

3k = Super Jump -.-

Upon taking further reflection, I'm fine with the old attract mode being gone, as long as it's replaced with an intro featuring Stan Bush's "The Touch!"

Can we get a save replay option like capcom vs snk 2 on the ps2?

Random select/random team would be a nice option also.

Capcom will probably not do anything like that as it would discourage people from playing with certain players who may have simply had one day with a faulty connection. They wouldn't want to single players out and limit the amount of games they get to play for any reason.
