dissidia final fantasy will be the killer game for the psp this year, and the new monster hunter for the psp will be another killer, especially in japan. And it give one advantage of owning a multiplatform game for the psp;you can play it on the go,and it damn close to the original home console version as well, not a horribly downsized game. One reason why sony is bringing their upcomming games on both ps2 and psp is because tons of people own a ps2,so it a good thing to allow everyone to play those games. |

Dissidia: Final Fantasy and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII are definately more like what i'm talking about with good exclusives. I'll probably also get the new Monster Hunter. I just feel that as its own system, the PSP needs exclusive titles to distinguish itself as its own game system, instead of just being a handheld version of the PS2. I'm not saying the ports are bad, its just the ports tend to usually have dumbed down visuals when if you've seen Crisis Core, there is no reason to.

In term of hardware, the psp is similar to the ps2 except with some differences. That why the guy from ninja gaiden didn`t wanted to create a ng game for the psp when asked in a interview. |

Whoever that was talkin about PSP not having great exclusives in 2009 must not have a PSP. Don't believe the hype, just cause there weren't any PSP games coming out of American studios that you know doesn't mean the games weren't there. Usually when you have a system you tend to put more effort into looking for its games. All you have to do is make a quick search on google and see all those nice lil games that have hit (and will be hitting) this year on PSP. And since language aint a barrier to me I bes swimmin in games. But, on subject. MvC2, hell all CAPCOM's games play fine on PSP. Albeit you can't set LLL an KKK buttons on the missing L2 and R2 buttons when dealing with DC games (like Power Stone collection and MvC2) the PSP setup is just fine. I brought me some lil Playstation grips for mine, so my life is set. |

As earlier stated, the only seemingly worthwile original titles coming to the PSP this year seem to be Dissida Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. But back tho the DC mention, Power Stone Collection is good but its a shame nobody else I know owns it. I'd love to play some multiplayer. But, I wouldn't see such a issue happening with a game like Marvel vs Capcom 2.

LOL @ this thread
psp controls suck for fighters PERIOD. And no there will never be a psp version. PSP is a fun handheld system but it's just not ment for these type of games. |

Dude, stop being immature. There's nothing wrong with the controls if you have at least the 2000 model. The PSP has plenty of space to hold this game on the UMD, and I'm sure it'd be up to it graphically. |

Im not being immature about it. Im just stating facts about the PSP controlls. If u play fighters seriouly like i do you would know that that is is imposible to play marvel at a high level with those type of controls. Sure the PSP can handle the game. But that's like saying u can get drunk off listerine. Yeah it's possible but it's not pretty why do soemething so stupid. |

Your comparison is stupid, and completely unrelated. Why can't the PSP control the game? I've got Tekken 5, and the same things I do on the PS3 are possible on PSP, and work just fine. It has the exact same number of buttons as the dreamcast. The PSP's D-pad is better than the DC's so, where is the problem? |
