I believe X-Men: Children of the Atom could prove you wrong. (:

I know my best character will lose to them in a 1v1, but that's why assists are so important for low tier characters.

However, you don't understand what I was trying to say.  I don't truly believe in a single best 1v1 character, because there are counter-matchups.  I suppose I'll explain it in a game I understand much more.

In SSBM, there was the Top Tier that consisted of Marth, Sheik, and Fox.  Basically, these 3 were considered by far the top 3 in the game, however, there was no single best of them.  When it came to matchups, it became a rock paper scissors effect.  Marth beat Sheik, Sheik beat Fox, and Fox beat Marth.  This means there's no true best 1v1 character in the game (whereas it could be argued very easily Marth was the best character for 2v2.)

Do you get where I'm coming from?

Actually, I think it was Falco > Fox > Marth > Shiek > Falco or something like that. But people seem to forget that the top Melee player uses Jigglypuff and he beat a Fox player. (:

That's why I never believe in tiers in any fighting game (Except Brawl) .. After all, I did take out many MSS/P teams using Hayato.. You just need to know the usual tactics of a MSS/P team. I'm surprised on how many really play the same way..

I believe that was the old tier because of shuffle laser with Falco, but eventually it became less useful and he became High Tier, unless he rose back to Top without me hearing about it.

Hmm?  The top player uses Jiggs?  Last time I knew, the two top players were Ken (Marth), and CaptainJack (Sheik).  What's the top player's name?

Akuma is all the way down there... I would like it well if balancing was executed in order to end the tiers or stabilize the equality amongst the roster.

hahah wow no offence dude but that guy must have sucked.

there is now way a hayato could even beat a mediocre msp. I would put

money that ur hayato could never beat my msp. No way in hell

Like most run-away characters. Cyclops really does a better job at that.. :B

No, not really. Cykes is arguably the 5th or 6th best character, but people use Cable more because, you know, AHVB is good. Super Optic Blast can punish a lot of things but it's not instant and can't combo into itself 3x. He has similar normals too. Basically he can do what Cykes can, and better.

I think I've seen Mag Genocide on SRK.com in the past. At any rate, he knows what he's talking about.

Edit- Just one of the many comebacks involving a Cable. Seriously, any MvC2 player worth his weight knows AHVB is good.

MagnetGenocide: Like I said before, aggression is not the only way to play. I usually tend to turtle until I see an opening and you should know how effective the assists are.

Photon: I don't know, I've seen Cykes being more effective than Cable many times before. I know how good AHVB is, I'm saying I think Cykes is better as a character. And I'm not taking anything away from MagnetGenocide, I just don't like the way he's trying to say that the only way to win in this game is to limit yourself to the big four. Just because you don't know how to use other characters doesn't mean I can't. :/

Taco: I think it was Mango.

I see your Cable comeback and raise you:

* zachd.com/mvc2/fulllist.html?comeback%20...

... but that being said, Cable just doesn't have as many tools to create his offense as the other Big Three do.  He's been slowly disappearing off the high level tourney scene and is mostly played as the middle of Magneto/Sent in top tier teams, although he's still a low tier killer.

Cyke is great, but I'm not too afraid of Cyclops rushdown. :)

Mango is considered the best now?  Seriously?  Oo I always knew he was good, but I thought Ken, Captainjack, Mew2King, PC Chris, and Azen were better than him...
