It's kind of sad to take Pride in that...
All a "Tier List" is normally is the EASIEST people to be super cheap with.. Everyone being Storm, Sentinel and Magneto/Cable is totally weak.. Before people realized half of their cheap combo's NOBODY would have been them.. I stick to my favourite players in the game.
Also their is a chance his Hayato could beat ANY player in the game, it is a video game and if he plays it right and doesn't get caught in a cheap combo than he could easily take the match... I like using Guile, Strider and either Ryu/Akuma/Dan |

wow talk about pathetic you guys wow pride yourselfs on using the cheap teams get a life do you really think the people who are considered professional of this game use that match up all the time... well your wrong you dont become a professional of any game unless you use half if not all different types of whatever game and you know you can run your mouth(keyboard) all you want about how good you are but you lose with that match up when it comes out you'll face someone who uses a random team you'll talk trash maybe even offer a money match then you'll lose you well
btw what the hell happen to the old days when people used characters they liked i mean it looks like the majority of players out there are a bunch of biter be original jesus theres 56 damn characters make a team of your own god i would say more but you biters would say or try anything to justify and mister" get with the times " i find that hilarious how about you go find yourself because you dont even know wow you are seems to me your to worried about what others think to even be yourself and i dont see why you put that last guy on the spot obviously he's plays it for funand theres nothing wrong with any of the characters he put up |

I don't believe top tiers are the only way to win. I enjoy playing low tiers, but I'm by no means pro. I also don't believe in the 'TIERS R 4 ****Z' crap either. Tiers in games ARE real, believe it or not. However, I do not believe that tiers are the definitive way to determine a battle. Counter-Matchups mean a lot in fighting games, but the only problem is it just so happens to be that most of the high tier characters are only countered by other high tiers, hence the strength of the tier system in MvC2. I suppose one man in particular sums up my thoughts about tiers. GimpyFish (SSBM). The closest to doing so in MvC2 is TharimRattler (Colossus user, like myself xD). He uses a mixture of high and lows. |

As much as I agree that an expert low tier player has a chance against top tier players, you really won't stand much with a team that doesn't support itself. You won't get anywhere with a team of Dan/Wolverine/Hayato (Unless you were JoeZaza I suppose). If you'll play a low tier, pick the other characters right to help that low tier be effective. The only reason my Hayato even stands a chance is because of Psylocke's massive support. Taco: Ken retired, dude. Too much Meta Knight I guess. ): |

there are only handfull of low tierd/midtiers that are any good in this game. And when put in the hands of a pro the can be super effective and u could prob win one or two matches but in the end. You will still endup loosing just cuz top tiers are way to good. They aren't cheap the just have more options. You people need to realize that we play in tournaments and we want to win. So it's diff for us than you guys. i'll pick low tiers when i play crubs/noobs at my arcade all the time hahaha. They are not worthy to play my good team.

Rey, I've been talking about SSBM this whole time haha, the competitive scene was better on Melee than Brawl IMO. I don't have a clue who is the best SSBB player.
Well Magnet, hopefully I'll be able to prove you wrong someday. The reason why I say hopefully, and someday is because I've got a lot of work ahead of me, but I do believe it possible to have a low tier in your team and still win. |

show me how to play this game.
