I'm 99.9% sure that Capcom is finished with MvC2 and ready for release. How do you know you say? Well pre-E3, i got a call from my brother-in-law for a small gig to help him setup some 32' plasma tv's for Capcom at a hotel in.....well i won't say where, but it was setup for E3 judges to view Lost Planet 2, some other game forgot the name, and i saw MvC2 on PS3 all characters unlocked and complete game, got to play it for a few minutes also. I'm guessing Capcom is just finishing loose ends or just trying to create more hype, who knows. When i asked one of the PR guys if he knew about a release date, he said no, and said he wouldn't be able to tell me even if he did know. |

I honestly dont believe that story Carlos. It may very well be true but I have a small problem believing anything. If anyone has seen any official dates or other official information, please let me know.

The game sounds cool? or the non-official re-release date?

Last time I checked, IGN.com had all the Summer of Arcade games listed as July 22 (except Shadow Complex, which was listed as August). So just b/c it said July 22 that doesn't mean anything. During last year's Summer of Arcade, each release had its own week before the next release came out. Expect it Wednesday July 29th at the earliest. |

Look, we all know that these dates are crap. We know that it's not delayed. And we also know that Capcom likes to toy with peoples' minds. So, maybe something will happen this week. Like the release of that MVC2 mixtape, an actual, official announcement from Capcom or something else. So stop with the constant whining and just wait and see what happens. |

When you ask, they don't tell. So sometimes it is better not to ask, so they will tell. Thus, if you guys give Capcom so much credit and applause boosting their egos over a game.....you won't get a courtesy reply or a hospitable answer as a response. It is a psychological mind game they are playing. ....with kids that is. LOL Anyway, my joystick is still eagerly waiting, but stashed away in the closet. I am getting disappointed....I was anticipating June 29, 2009 as the release date by many sources. Don't Capcom realized there are a few of us with a life threating/debilitating diseases, that maybe some of us won't live past this point to see what we will miss with online play? And will like to play it one more time before we go? LOLz
