Don't get me wrong, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is one of my favorite fighters and I'm glad it's landing on PSN/XBLA, but is it worth checking out on buying it even if you own it on PS2 or the original Xbox? I have this game on the PS2 with all the characters unlocked and costumes, so it all comes down to this. Is it worth buying this game on on the PS3/360 just for the Trophies/Achievements and playing it in Hi-Def, even though you own the game? PSN-ID: trapper12 I AM THE TRAP!!! |

I'll probably check into it, but I'll see about it. I may buy this game just for the online play and Trophies. |

The PS2 version of the game isn't that great. Even if you own the DC version, it is worth it. It's only 15 bucks, you'll get some upgrades, and online play. Why not? Think of it like this.. You own MvC2, but, for 15 dollars more, you get an online upgrade, HD support, and crisp graphics, and playable on your PS3. Capcom could charge 30 bucks for this game, but, they aren't 15 dollars is nothing. Go get it. |

Dude, I'd pay the full $60 for online play for this game, $15 is nothing. I'll end up spending over $100 after an arcade stick though T,T |

mvc2 is still a must-own games, but it rare and expensive, plus it better to play it with a arcade stick^the ps2 controller is killing one of my thumbs slowly in 2d games^ So it not to get it or not,but to find it the problem. You will have to dig on ebay and pay not-a-little to get it. |

The part about playing against "other people" and not just "the computer" would seem pretty exciting to me. :) |

Online play, custom soundtrack, improved graphics, and not having to worry about disc compatibility issues make it worth buying MvC2 in my opinion.
