What will happen to the future of Marvel vs. Capcom now that Disney has bought Marvel?

I'm sure most of you have heard by now that Disney has recently bought out the Marvel franchise. I still lack details as to why this has happened, but I was curious to know if this will effect any future Marvel vs. Capcom games. Or if there will even be new installments.
Granted this is more Marvel than Capcom, but it will indirectly effect Capcom one way or another. By not releasing anymore MvC installments per se.

Disney's turning into Walmart, damn monopolies

Anywho, I'm not sure if the purchase of Marvel by Disney effects MvC, since MvC3 hasn't been announced yet or anything. I'm hoping for Disney Vs. Capcom though :D

Seriously Disney Vs Capcom would be atrocious. I want to at least be able to use my Captain America & Spiderman combo team...

Since Disney owns Marvel, I figured they'd have the more popular Marvel characters included with their lineup, not strictly Disney

edit: actually, I'd rather have it more of MvC, with a few Disney characters in it (along with more SF characters)

Classic Disney had the illest characters, real big time heroes and villans, I wouldn't be so quick to rag on their lineup without checking their resume (that statement would be far more effective if I knew how to type accents...).

However, this is just one of the MANY licensing hurdles between us and MvC3, in the grand scheme of things, this doesn't change much.

There is nothing to report at this time and Capcom staff can't speculate.  Sven responded two days ago in Ask Capcom:

Sorry guys, I'd really rather not speculate on the record. It would be highly likely to be taken out of context or have more read into it than I'd care for people to.

How do you figure Capcom is "dropping the ball"? Its an acquisition they have absolutely no power over.
