While Magneto and Storm are the best of the god-tier characters, it's rare you will fight a skilled magneto/storm player ONLINE, since A) you need a joy stick B) they are hard as HELL to master, especially that triangle jump, so most people ONLINE, resort to spamming on Sentinel and Cable.
Most of the magnetos I have played against were pretty skilled but maybe thats because I normally have friendly matches with people that beat me. But I still think sent is an overall better character than magneto and storm.

People are amazed that I'm on pad because my Magneto is actually decent. I've had Ranked match players quit on me because they think I'm using a stick :/
Also, while I don't know how to use Sentinel at all, I think he and Storm are the 2 best characters, in the right hands of course

Wait till they patch up Cable's AHVB. He won't be as noob friendly considering Cable is a character that actually requires brains to use, imo. All he has are his AHVB and his space control. Cyclops, Doom and Blackheart would've been way better than Cable if Cable didn't have AHVB.
And just a note, yes, I do use Cable. But people complaining about him just annoys me because he's just not as easy to use as many people think, atleast not in high level play.
My friends and I aren't very good at this game, check my stats i'm like 72 and 360, I am horrible but i love it when I beat someone and they just get raped and ragequit. We all just scream rage quit and start cracking up.
I was when someone rage quits on you it freezes the screen and rage quit pops up on the screen and it takes a photo and puts it in my photos on ps3 so I may upload them to this site because they are funny as hell.
They are even better in sf4 because the characters eyes get all big when you do a super/ultra

What? Cable is an ANNOYING doche bag who NEEDS to have his AHVB removed. That JERK, stop running like a punk and fight me. That's why Im forced to use Sentinel whenever some one uses Cable, cause I know Sentinel can easily punish Cable for his lag on his beams and Sentinel can stay hovering over him while I Blackheart assist spam.
But on a side note there was a dude using iron man/war machine/cable and I beat him with Dan/Servbot/Captain Commando. I guess it was just luck.
A good Cable generally beats a good Sentinel. And Storm / Sent / Doom / Blackheart have waaaaay better runaway than Cable does. Doom and Storm are pretty much broken against lower tier, for example. That's why I don't go low tier against Doom: it's one of the dumbest fights in the game, especially given his crFP and unblockable crRH. Booooo. =)
imo,there is definitly an imbalance in sentinel,cable is just a bug that needs to be fixed,other than that it isnt all that easy to master him,however magneto and storm quite simply need skill,so its hard to really say they are imbalanced because its hard to differentiate if its the priority or whatever or its just the skill that makes them win the game.
but sentinel has just too many things that others dont have : slight armor,LOTS of life,high damage,some lame pins (with good assists),good assist,high priortiy,fastest flyer in the game,and again LOTS of life and damage!
if u just add only a select few of these things to low or medium tier characters that would make them WAY stronger.

I can agree with sent has way too many pros and not enough cons. Sent cons imo are he can be slow, sent only infinites, rush down prone, harder to escape traps but his cons are not as relevant due to his play style. Flight mode makes him pretty fast and drastically reduces the chance to land a standing infinite. Then again learning sent is harder than learning cable imo
