How to stop Gambit's escape

There was this guy, Who plays as Gambit and after giving me a little damage, He was able to make him dissapear. With that he defeated me via timeover for 6 times. How can I stop it? Any advice?

Is it this? If I remember correctly, this isn't in the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions.



At any rate, it's a banned glitch in serious play, since there really isn't anything you can do about it. Either ask him or her to not use it, or just don't play him/her anymore if he/she keeps on doing it.

i can't reproduce it in single player ps3, but can easily do it in the arcade.


 


is it done differently on ps3?

It's done differently in that you'd have to hack the code and recompile it. In other words, it's been taken out of the PSN/XBLA release.

yea this was remove for that reason. Imagine going on a ranked game and have a gambit take a small lead then fly away.  If you playing at the arcade/dreamcast to stop him is to hit him with something before he gets to the top of the screen. or if hes up there you can spirals teleport + circle sword release to knock him down
