One of the more comon ways to see if a series is finished, is a Perfect Works book coming for it. Zero had one. But don't misunderstand with R20. That hosts both Classic and X. And with MM9, it is safe to say that it only counts if the book is pertained to the series to which it is about.
And I remember Inti-Creates taking over MegaMan (Classic Gameplay) being said somewhere.

After that being said, I guess this thread got it's answer pretty clearly,the Megaman Zero series ended.

actually I would LOVE if they would make a Megaman Zero 5! cuz Megaman Zero series has alot of fans and alot of people like it and personaly I really love it and enjoyed it and the best one was Megaman Zero3! but I dont think they gonna make any more Megaman Zero games, cuz they moved on to ZX which sucks!! Megaman ZX sucks @$$!!!! I hate it and the idea of it! its just wrong! we loved the Megaman Zero series so I really hope they bring it back! |

Refrain from cursing. Even indirectly. And there is 0 chance for any game for MegaMan Zero. At least for a fifth chapter. Zero is dead. Kind of hard to make a sequel with a dead protaganist. If another were to emerge, it would be a Zero side story. Like Xtreme was to the X series.

hell i'll do MegaMan Zero 5 but zero won't be in the game X & Axl will be in it Zero will be a ghost just like X from before also X's 5 other Guardends called the REJEECTED i made it myself Vile is in it i made the perfect story made the artwork but i didn,t do the background yet im working on it think about it

Yeah, umm... X's body died in Zero 2... X Cyber Elf vanished after Zero 3... Axl had no appearance within the Zero series (his involvement haulted during the end of the maverick Wars)... Kind of hard to base a game around characters who are gone, while trying to continue the story...

It's sad to have to retire the title of megaman zero. On a good note though megaman zx is kind of like a megaman zero 5. The art style remains the same. |

Having been done by the same people, it would have been dificult to change the art style... Though yes, ZX is Zero 5 in essence... Since there cannot be a Zero series continuation... If we can get anything Zero series, then the only way is for filler titles. Pre Zero 1, between Zero 1 and Zero 2... Zero Xtreme in other words...

Well there could be one since the game never did say that Zero did die and the helm could have just disconnected from the head. |
