Character wise I'll post the important characters. Dr. Wily > lord Wily Bass EXE > Bass Protoman > Protoman EXE Megaman = Megaman EXE Roll = Roll EXE Duo > Duo EXE In terms of series I absolutely love the Classic series and I say the classic series > BN series by a longshot even though I like the Battle network series. |

The classic series hands down is my favorite of the two. But that does not mean that Battle Network was not fun or enjoyable. I just prefer classic more. |

In terms os popularity, the Classic surpasses Battle Network anyday but there at least placed on the same level.

I would have to go with the classic series. The classics were alot better and all together offered alot more gameplay value. |

I'm a big fan of both series but in the end I 'd have to pick the classic Megaman series, I prefer the run and gun platforming of the originals to the RPG style of Battle Network.

I love both series. Battle Network was fun and Classic was hard. But, like everyone else here, I solidly prefer Classic.

Personally I woulda rated BN a LOT higher if it never got into that "power of friendship" thing it got into in the second half of the series.
ANYWAY, I find classic better in terms of character designs, although there are exceptions. (I found Plant Man.EXE far better apperance-wise then Classic Plant Man was) In terms of plot, that unarguably goes to BN, the Classic series has never really gone beyond "stop Wily from taking over the world", whereas BN's plots are more complicated. (but still very straight forword) At the end of the day I would go with Classic.
She sells sea shells by the sea shore. However a tidal wave's coming so she won't be doing that too much longer.

Ahaha personal I like BN more than the classical ^^;;; I like the bn design more than the classical one (Please don't kill me for saying that loud >x< it's just my opinion ) |
