I keep thinking about this... MegaMan... from this we all know that the megaman games were dedicated to a boy or a man... the exceptions were "Misadventures of tron Bonne" and the ZX series... but there are still people that say that there are few fan girls of Megaman... I don't agree, and the girls weren't forgotten in the games... look in Megaman Zero... Ciel is a very important part of the story... the is alwyas someone that like Rolls (yeah there are three of them), and many other examples...
So what you have to say about that? |

Ciel is a grest female charachter. I really like Roll from all the games she is in and Misora (Sonia) from Megaman Star Force |

Just look at the terms. MegaMan (a robot. Not a gender). Human, and Woman. The 'Man' part is only to distinguish the being or robot as humanoid based. There is plenty of potential. Just don't view it as male or female. Since those are only visual distinguishments. Alternatively Zero series and ZX series take the actual approach.

I think its funny how few females there are in the original MegaMan series; only 3 if I'm thinking right. It's still my favorite of the bunch. I could honestly care less about the balance of males/females in a game though. It seems to me like the EXE series probably had the most female fans though. |

I don't think it really matters. I never met in person, a girl that likes Mega Man. Not saying that there isnt but, it is rather rare. |

They are in far greater abundance online. Also, there's my wife, who I met through Mega Man. --LBD "Nytetrayn" |

Come on! Splash Woman! The Megaman ZX Girls! They are trying to add more and more female characters to the Megaman series as more and more new games come out. With the recent Megaman ZX games allowing you, (I think this is a first) to actually play as a female Megaman character. Also the recent Splash Woman inclusion into the new Megaman 9 was a big moment in Megaman History. And don't forget that new game for the Wii that is Japan only, tatsunoko vs capcom, allows you to play as Roll as a fighting character. Not to say like she hasn't been playable in other Capcom Vs. games, but Capcom is basically still saying they are including female Megaman characters in there. |

I like having Alia around, and Layer too. Pallette is tolerable. Glad they were made playable in X8. More of that, please. (though it's too bad they were unlockable) Command Mission had a few good female characters, too. Leviathan had a pretty good fanbase in MMZ, it's too bad she was only playable in a minigame, and in a sense, in ZX. Speaking of ZX, I am glad they began making female PCs more standardized. Pity they didn't continue that with Roll in MM9. --LBD "Nytetrayn" |
