The OST is fine, although some of the tracks kick ass, there are couple of those which were done real badly, like Armadillo's. Boomer Kuwanger's track was just as great as the original, I loved it.

Overall, it's not great, but still fine.

I absolutely hated the remixes.

MMX's soundtrack was an epic Thrash Metal masterpiece with progressive influences, and MHX(much like the terrible music of X5-X7) sounded like you were trapped in a bad nightclub.

I would recommend listening to "BrainSickMetal" by remixer Protricity, it's a medly of the intro stage, storm eagle, and spark mandrill themes.

I strongly enjoyed the new music.

Although there were a few tunes, like the new background theme for the final stage that irritated me, but considering that I only hear that for all of 10 seconds it's not something to explode over.

At the same time, I personally prefered the heavy metal themes in Vile Mode.
