After X4, the whole "blood in reploids" thing was kinda dropped.

Reploids would make a bllod "splash" when injured in the original japanese version of Z1, it was toned down, but not taken out, of the international and english version.

I believe that as of Z2, no MM game has had blood coming out of the robots and/or reploids.

The idea of them "bleeding" and the liquid coming out being actual blood makes no sense to me, it should be black oil if anything.

Although... a bit of a stretch, they could come up with the explanation that the "blood" is just an internal fluid that just so happens to be red.

Reploids do not have 'Blood'. They do however have hydraulic fluid, coolants (if applicable), lubrication and other necessary liquids to keep machinery running. That is why there are reploid maintenance.

Just that a lot of hydraulic fluids do look like blood, especially after some usage... Thus the confusion of the liquid.

Well, that answers a question I've had for years. Although it should have been obvious to me.

Fire burns Earth......Fire is fanned by Wind.....Fire evaporates Water.....Fire is freaking awesome!

My apparent catch-phrase: Freaking Awesome.

Well, since X4, that question has plagued fans.

I think it's just oil, not blood because how else would these reploids would move right? A car gets squeeky every now and then and that's why ya need oil to prevent it from creaking so much and let's not forget a car needs to get their oil change every several months, right? I think Capcom just made a mistake about reploids spewing red fluids, it should of been black.

Reploids need much more than just oil. They require Hydraulic fluid for appendage component function. To be able to walk, adjust motor functions... Lubrications/oil for joint mechanics. Knees, Hips, Elbows, Shoulders... They are high tech machines, that require more than a standard piece of machinery.

i think they added blood possibly to show how closely related reploids were becoming to humans,to look like a real human but in a robot suit...

It is NOT blood. A machine cannot have blood. A machine has other liquids that it needs.

Time for a recap:

hydraulic Fluid.

Oil.

Pressure Lubrications.

Coolants.
