The correct translation is actually "Operate Shooting Star." And shouldn't this go in the Battle Network forum? Judging by the title, it's considered an entry in the Battle Network series. |

But it's also a Star Force Title. The Story might as well be divided into two games: One where you play as Lan Hikari and MegaMan.EXE, and the other where you play as Geo Stelar/MegaMan. |

Most likely. Also this is looking to be more Battle Network focused. The logo looks like the old EXE logo. |

Does this mean we get to see the return of the 3x3 grid on each side, and the return of the AreaSteal Chip? And some Program Advances based on the Star Force Big Bang, Link Force Big Bang, and Noise Force Big Bang! Program Advance: GENOCIDE BLAZER! or Program Advance: Kaizer Delta Breaker! |

Who knows? For all we know it could play like a completely different game. We do not know much more than the title. More details are supposed to come out in the September issue of CoroCoro I believe. It comes out in August. |

Yes, the logo is designed after Rockman EXE, and the title is "ROCKMAN EXE: Operate Shooting Star." Therefore it is a Battle Network game featuring a Star Force cross-over, not a Star Force title. I expect most of the elements to derive from Battle Network. I'm curious how Capcom intends on closing the 200 year gap between the two series. Duo and time travel perhaps? I'm also curious how Capcom is going to market the game, specifically... Are we going to get slammed with two versions again? And finally... I pray pray PRAY that since Battle Network was so much more popular than Star Force, this means the revival of the anime series. |

If there's one thing I noticed from EXE 6, it's that the contest winners in that game were designed to play a rather critical role in the plot. There were three contest winners for EXE 6, but the grand prize winner in particular (Circusman) was designed in such a way that quickly drove the plot forward. Now, we have this year's contest winner, Clock Genius... If they're going to go with the time travel thing, Clock Genius is likely to play a critical role in the plot as well. It might also explain why he won the contest despite the not-so-good design (although chances are he was already redesigned). |
